Today was the day...

Scott was finally getting released from the damn trauma chair...

He knew nobody was going to care, they all showed him that ''sympathy''..

Scott didn't expect them to, really.. he had been an ass to everyone.

But did that mean that they could make fun of his injuries?

Scott pushed all those thoughts out of his mind as he entered a hospital room.

A nurse walked in, she crouched down next to him to get on Scott's eye level..

"You made quite the progress, I'm impressed." The woman said warmly.

She shone a little lamp in his eye. "I want you to try and blink, think you can do that for me.?" The nurse sounded so trustworthy..

Scott had to do this ''exercise'' everyday for a few months now.

It had become easier every few times.

He blinked without hesitation, he only had one thing on his mind; Get me out of this hell.

The nurse smiled. "Once you're out of this chair we'll take a look at your vocal cords and the rest of your facial muscles. Is that alright with you?"

Scott blinked a few times, letting her know yes.

He wasn't planning on using the yes or no lights on the chair, they didn't work for shit anyway.

"Alright deary.." The nurse was now holding a syringe.. "I want you to relax, this might feel a little weird.."

The syringe was placed under his jawline.

Scott didn't feel any different, he didn't feel anything at all.

His vision just turned black, no pain or anything.. he lost that a while ago.

~Few moments later~

Scott tiredly opened his eyes, his eyelids felt.. heavy..?

A beeping noise could be heard every few seconds, a heartbeat monitor.

His lips felt dry, but Scott was happy he could even feel them at all.

Scott got a tingly feeling in his right hand..

With a lot of effort he was able to move his hand a bit.

To most people 'moving your hand' wouldn't be anything special, but it felt amazing to him.

Somehow Scott was capable of sitting up straight.

He looked around the hospital room, everything looked white and blurry.

Scott stretched his limbs carefully, to his surprise it didn't hurt that much.

He held his hands in front of his face, it didn't feel real to him.

Not only could he see his own limbs, he could move them!

Tears of joy rolled down his cheeks, he felt alive again..

After all the torture, he had been released from hell..

He had been freed from the chair hell.

(Just a short Scott OneShot XD, nothing special..)
