~Zero was patrolling when he saw Yuuki sitting at the waters fountains edge~
"...Yuuki" said Zero walking to the fountain.
"O Zero I didn't know you were there" Yuuki said getting up quickly. She walked past Zero he caught her arm.
"Z-zero..." Yuuki said looking for emotion in his eyes.
"Whats wrong" he said looking at her.
"Nothing... we should patrol" She said yanking her arm back, but just then he pulled her into a breath taking hug.
"Zero.." was what she said before she wrapped her arms around him, crying into his chest. This only made his grip on her tighten, he held her like that for a while. Suddenly she stop sobbing.
"Yuuki... are you ok?" Zero asked concern as he look down to her head buried in his chest.
"Yuuki" she didn't answer.
"I j-just" she stuttered, he tried to pull away to see her face, but she wouldn't let him. So, he had no choice, he picked her up taking her over to the water fountain. Her grip on him didn't loosen, he sat down with Yuuki still on his chest.
"Yuuki.. tell me whats wrong" Zero asked, she didn't answer.
"Yuuki look at me" he said demandingly, her grip loosened but she didn't let go.
"I don't want too" she said.
"fine but can you at least tell me whats wrong" he said.
"Don't leave me..." she whispered, when he heard it his eyes widened in shock.
'Why would she ask me that' he thought.
"What are you talking about.." he asked.
"I heard you talking to my dad about...about leaving" she said then the sobs came.
"Yuuki..." he whispered and he tightened his grip.
"No Zero I want you to...stay here... with me" she said breaking the hug and, looking up at him with tears in her eyes. His eyes softened at hers, he whipped away the tears with his thumb. Then he pulled her in his lap.
"Don-Don't leave me...please Zero" she said crying into his chest.
"Yuuki I-" he was cut off.
"Promise me...promise me you want leave me behind" she said.
"I promise I wont leave you behind..." he said. After an hour of silence Zero realized she was asleep on his chest. He just starred at her before picking her up in his arms, and caring her up to her dorm. He laid her down on the bed and kissed her forehead.
"I love you to much to leave you behind.." he whispered before walking out of her room. He had no idea Kaname was outside and saw everything. His eyes turned red as he disappeared.
