Disclaimer: I own nothing but the concept of this...I can't say plot because there really isn't one.

Paring(s): Harry/Ginny

Warnings: This is written Post HBP, therefore there are spoilers. And a lot of them.

Comments:This was supposed to be a fluffy sweet little thing without depression...but I don't think that happened. Ah well Ginny and Harry just...took over. I hate it when they do that.

Ginny and Harry sat together on a couch in the den of number 12 Grimmauld place. They weren't talking, just sitting and thinking. Harry's mind was filled with thoughts of finding the remaining Horcruxes and destroying them, and then eventually Voldemort, and of the death of Albus Dumbledore.

Ginny's mind was filled with thoughts too, yes somewhere in the endless depths of her mind were the thoughts of Horcruxes and Voldemort, and too of Dumbledore's death, but not at the forefront of her mind. Instead she was thinking of Harry, and her feelings for him. She loved him, and was fairly certain that he loved her too, even if he said they couldn't be together. She knew that he was just worried about her. He didn't want Voldemort to try and use her again, to get to him. She knew that he would feel horrible if Voldemort were to take her and do god knows what to her, just to get to him. But still...she wished it weren't a problem.

She'd read some Muggle comics, of a super hero named Spiderman who's secret identity was Peter Parker, and how Peter had this girl he liked named Mary Jane, but he didn't want to be with her because he didn't want his enemies to use her against him. In a way those comics reminded her of Harry.

She loved him. Had loved him, ever since her first year, even before that really. And even though he was thick when it came to love, she knew that someday, maybe once Voldemort was defeated, for she had no doubt that Harry would defeat him, he would come back to her and they'd move on with their lives. Together. She thought of Remus and Tonks, and how Remus had finally got it through his thick head that Tonks would stay by his side, always, because she loved him. Even if he was a werewolf. Now if only Harry would get it through HIS thick skull.

Ginny looked over at him, noting the look of sadness that lingered there, so obvious in his big, green, expressive eyes. He's lost so much in his life. His parents when he was a baby, then Sirius, so soon after finding him, and now Dumbledore. She understood, she really did, but he was just so happy those few weeks they were together. Then, in a moment, she made up her mind.

"Harry." She spoke softly, but still he jumped, obviously so lost in his thoughts he wasn't paying attention to anything else.

"Ginny." He replied looking at her.

"I love you, and I want you to know that. Even if we aren't quote 'together' I love you and probably always will. I just needed to tell you." She said looking deep into his eyes.

"I love you too Gin. And that's why we can't be together. It would kill me if he did anything to you. So until he's gone, or I'm gone, which ever happens, we can't be together." he replied looking down at his lap.

She reached over and took his hands into hers. "Harry. We'll be stronger together. Our love will help us, and yes I do mean us, defeat him. That's what Dumbledore said isn't it?"

Harry stared at their hands a while then looked up and into her eyes. "You're right." Then he cupped her cheek lightly and kissed her.
