Boys & Their Toys
"Lookout! It's the Texas wood-saw massacre!" Greg cried, thrusting his finger skyward.
"Don't you mean chainsaw?" Catherine asked, thinking back to last Halloween when she had watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Lindsay and her friends. What a mistake that was, She mused. The girls had nightmares for weeks…
"No! Wood-saw!" Greg exclaimed, pointing harder.
Catherine followed the line of his finger until she saw a Styrofoam plane hanging from the light switch. The words "Texas Wood-saw Massacre" were written across the side in what appeared to be red sharpie, while a tiny army man was taped to the wing, a tiny, ordinary wood saw taped to his hand.
She got up to investigate, while Greg tossed his arm over his eyes, muttering that she was going to die if she got any closer.
She grinned when she saw what was written on the unoccupied wing. "Nick's Toy. Don't touch!" She read aloud.
Greg peeped through his fingers, and asked "What? What is it?"
Catherine just chuckled and replied "Boys and their toys."
