You noticed the difference very quickly once the others are gone. The group that left for Castle Oblivion were, as you were already fully aware, seen as 'expendable'; but then again, the only reason the rest of you weren't sent was simply that you were less expendable. In Xemnas' eyes, none of you really mattered, you were simply bodies for him to control.

The lounge was much quieter without Larxene's complaining, bickering with the other members. The scent of the room was stale once Marluxia left. You rather enjoyed the company of the old timers; Lexaeus was quiet but a good listener and fighter. Zexion was haughty but nevertheless you could deal with him. Even the absence of Vexen, who cursed you out more than your own mother, was someone you missed fucking around with. It was such a waste to have lost him… Really to have lost any of them; moreso the older members than the newer.

For some time everything was simply work, work, work, catching up where the others left off and trying to make up the low numbers. Then Roxas and Axel decided to defect, doubling their missions. However, that didn't stop Demyx still from pushing his work off onto others when he could get away with it…

…perhaps if he had done more of his own missions he wouldn't have been the first to go of the remaining Organization. When you heard about him falling at Hollow Bastion, you weren't really surprised; one, because really all he had been sent there to do was to be a distraction, and two, it had only been a matter of time anyway.

It was extremely disappointing when Xaldin went. You didn't expect it, or perhaps you had and you just didn't want to believe it was inevitable. All the same, a drink was had in his memory; too bad you got too shitfaced to remember that night.

Time was not on their side despite Luxord being one of their only remaining members. You thought it was surprising that he had lasted so long but perhaps that was because his abilities and general knowledge was not as threatening as others had been. Really it was a shame, Luxord wasn't a bad guy all in all and you enjoyed your time with him and his silly game puns. He was a breath of fresh air.

But you never had the chance to see it all the way to the end. By that point you didn't care and you still got the last laugh in the end, seeing that confused expression on Sora's face as you descended back into darkness. For all you knew Kingdom Hearts was a success and the remaining Nobodies received their hearts.

However, you knew that wasn't likely and the real outcome had been utter defeat. It didn't bother you; nothing really did anymore, especially towards the end.

You were just glad you got to go out with a bang.
