Prologue
My life was almost perfect. I had the best boyfriend, an amazing family and friends, I'm smart & Pretty,
and I had a great future ahead of me. What happened? Oh yeah, all this supernatural bull shit ruined everything.
Chapter 1: Danielle Faye.
I can't believe we've been together for a whole year already, man the time flew by. Well, I
guess that's what happens when you love someone. I smiled to my self with thoughts of the
most amazing man I've ever met on my mind. Who would've thought me, Danielle
Faye, would ever be in love at the age of 16. All of a sudden I hit something and fell over. It
took me a second to realize that something was a person. Wow, nice one Dani only you
would get so caught up in your dreams that you couldn't see where you were going. Oh gosh
now I'm going crazy, talking to myself and shit ugh. Suddenly I hear a voice ask me if I'm
okay, that's when I realized I'm still sitting in the sand. Such an idiot. I quickly stand up and
brush the sand off my jeans and when I looked up I seen Paul. My sister Kim's boyfriends
best friend. Other wise known as the man whore of Lapush.
" Hey uhm yea I'm fine thanks.." I said awkwardly.
I looked into his eyes and I felt a slight pull towards him. Oh my, his eyes
are so dark and mysterious and that body, don't even get me started.
Wait, no what am I saying? I have a boyfriend that I love.. But his smile was just so- NO what
the hell Danielle pull it together think of Jake. Jake. Jake. Paul. Ugh what is wrong with me?
That's when I seen two huge guys standing behind Paul trying to hide there smirks. I think
there names were Sam and Embry.
Paul spoke then " Im Paul Meraz, what's your name?" he said with that amazing smile.
STOP.
" I'm Danielle Faye, I'm really sorry for running into you like that..." I blushed.
Thank the lord for my russet skin or he would've been able to see.
" It's all good beautiful, I hope to see you around sometime. I gotta go to pa- work but it was
really great meeting you." he said a little to quickly then ran into the woods.
That confused me but I was to busy thinking about the cute nickname he gave me. I smiled as
my phone started ringing "
You're all that matters to me, yeah, yeah, Ain't worried about nobody else If it ain't you, I ain't myself You make me complete"
That was Jacobs ringtone.
I quickly answered "Hey Babe!"
"Where are you Dani?"
"First Beach why? "
" Weeeell I was wondering if my beautiful girlfriend would like to go on a date with
me tomorrow night? "
I smiled " Of course, where are we going? "
" Ahh that's for me to know and for you to find out. " he said teasingly.
I giggled "Jakeyyyy you know how I feel about suprises.." I pouted.
I hated suprises because it made me feel like people where keeping things for me
and I'm really not a fan of secrets. But, for my Jacob I'll compromise.
" I know babe, but you'll love this one... promise! "
"Okay see you then, I love you Jake. " I said sweetly.
"I love you to Dani "
" Adios Mi Amor !"
He chuckled " Adios. "
I closed my phone and sighed. I felt so guilty for the things I had thought about
Paul. It was so wierd, my heart ached for Paul but my mind told me I needed Jacob.
Which I do. I would be completly lost without Jake. I decided I should start heading
home it was getting dark outside.
