How long it has been

You've been torn apart

You've become so thin

Cousin, dear cousin

Please wake up soon

I miss your laughter

And its beautiful tune

Cousin, dear cousin

Remember the days back home

When life was fair and simple

When tears were unknown

Cousin, dear cousin

You used to tuck me in bed

Said everything was all right

And kissed me on my head

Cousin, dear cousin

I'm here right by your side

I'll be brave for the both of us

Yet I'm weeping on the inside

Are those your eyes I see?

Are you truly waking up

And staring back at me?

The joy to see your face

It brings tears to my eyes

This feeling can't be replaced

I'm so glad you're okay
