Just as the Federation guards surrounding Avon press the trigger on their guns, Avon wakes up lying in the Liberator's infirmary. He is stunned to see Cally standing over him. "Cally! What- you died on terminal! Cally says: "Terminal? Never heard of it. You've been in a deep sleep for 8 days" Avon: "8 days? it feels like its been 8 months. What happened to me?" Cally: "Well, shortly after we left the Teal-Vandor Convention where Tarrent's brother was killed, Orac took control of the Liberator so he could study the wonders of the universe again. This wonder was an energy signature unlike anything Orac had encountered before. By the time we realized what Orac had done, the Liberator was approaching the planet where the energy signature had come from. The signature was coming from a building on the planet. You got curious yourself and wanted a closer look so you took Orac and teleported down. We lost contact with you and not wanting to risk suffering the same fate as you we decided to try to teleport you up before going down to look for you. Luckily it worked but when you materialized in the teleportation chamber you were lying on the floor. We thought maybe you were dead but on further examination it was determined that you were in a state of deep REM sleep. Ever since then we've been trying to find a way to wake you up but then a few minutes ago, you suddenly woke up on your own. But on the bright side we got a weeks vacation from you(sarchasm)" Avon: "Where are we now?" Cally: " We decided to take Ro up on his offer and rest on Horizon. The others are down there now. I'll go and let them know you've awakened. You should lie down a little longer before trying to move around." Avon: "Wait, What about Orac?" Cally: "Oh yes, well apparently he did that trick to make himself smaller ( like the time you cheated at chess at Freedom city) so he was in your hand. Why he did that only you two know. And he never felt the need to tell us why he did it and I doubt that you remember."
