Short oneshot that will eventually have a sequel or future chapters or something. I'm not sure yet. Take it as a oneshot for now as it won't be getting updated any time soon. XD
Oshitari walked through the hospital corridors after getting his hands checked on Sakaki's orders. They'd still been shaking a little at the end of the matches, but as Oshitari had expected his hands were fine and his coach's reaction had been unnecessary. It did, however, give him a good excuse to check up on a certain Seigaku player who was also being checked out in the hospital he had gone to. Oshitari could only assume that Momoshiro had also been seen by a doctor, but it wasn't Momoshiro that Oshitari was seeking out.
Oshitari knocked lightly on the door to the proper hospital room where his prey was sitting waiting for his doctor. "Oishi-kun, is your wrist alright? I hope that Ohtori-kun didn't break it," he drawled as he walked in.
Oishi looked up clearly surprised by his visitor. "Oshitari-kun, what are you doing here? Did you get hurt during your match with Momo?" he inquired as he turned more fully to face Oshitari with a confused look on his face.
"I'm fine, but Kantoku informed me that I needed to have my hands checked just in case. You didn't answer my question yet," Oshitari drawled slowly as he walked over and sat down next to him on the bed. "Ohtori and Shishido didn't manage to break your wrist, did they?"
Oishi shrugged as he leaned back against the wall. "I don't think so, but I haven't gotten the x-ray back yet so I'm not sure."
Oshitari raised an eyebrow at that comment. "You couldn't tell if you broke your wrist? Isn't that something you should know?" This idea of not knowing when a bone could have been broken was foreign to him. How could someone not know such a thing? Broken bones were painful after all.
Oishi sighed and closed his eyes. "I really didn't even notice it was aching and swollen until Eiji stopped me from returning that shot." Oishi opened his eyes and turned his attention to Oshitari. "Do you make it a habit to check up on your opponents? I didn't see you when Momo was getting checked out."
Oshitari shook his head. "I was here to have my hand checked out and realized that you were also here so I thought I'd see if you were alright. It's hardly a habit," he drawled out.
"How do you explain showing up after the matches at the beginning of Kanto? You had no reason to be at the hospital then, but you came by to see me," Oishi replied as he closed his eyes again feeling inexplicably tired.
Oshitari smirked as he shifted. "I suppose I should say that I don't make it a habit of checking up on opponents I'm not attracted to," he quipped before leaning over and placing a kiss on Oishi's lips. Oshitari stood with a smile as Oishi's eyes flew open in pure shock. "I'll see you around, Oishi-kun," he drawled as he headed out the door with a smirk. This was going to be fun.
