Thoughts on a Monkey Boy
A/N: Well, being that I suffer from complete writer's block for Things Change (my Naruto fanfic) I am doing my first fanfic for one of my favorite series…..RealBout Highschool!
This is from the manga version but I might put some anime into it.
'He's a barbarian, total annoyance...He's…Shizuma Kunsanagi.'
Ryoko Mitsurugi slammed her head against her wooden desk a good four times before shaking her head furiously; trying to shake away the memory of her previous thoughts.
'Get yourself together Mitsurugi!' She thought to herself. 'It's just a coincidence that I'm thinking of that monkey three days before prom!'
It's true; the annual prom is merely three days away and our young heroine is without a date.
'And the worst part is that Daisaku is going with Hitomi; I'm happy for them but I can't even get a date with my own fan boy...I'm so pathetic.'
The bell rang and it was time to head home. Ryoko sighed, gathered her books and started toward her home.
Ryoko's House
"I'm home!" Ryoko called as she entered the house; only to be greeted by silence.
"Guess no one's home."
Ryoko skipped up the steps two at a time towards her room.
She sat her book bag down and dropped onto her bed. She was completely drained.
'Teenage life sucks. You have no direction, no plan. Stupid boys, stupid hormones, stupid life.' Ryoko thought bitterly.
After a few minutes the red head rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling as if asking 'what now?'
SLAM! Ryoko slowly rolled onto her side and opened her eyes.
'I guess I dozed off.' She looked at her alarm clock. 6:30.
The young samurai pushed herself off her bed and went down the stairs. She found her Aunt in the kitchen.
"What's up Aunt Modoka?" the nurse looked up startled.
"Oh, Ryoko it's you." She pointed a finger towards the wall facing Ryoko's back. "Your father has gone mad man on us."
The red head slowly turned around and eyed the knickknacks her father sent her in exasperation.
She turned back towards her Aunt and seated herself at the table.
"Well, how was you day?"
"Nothing out of the ordinary."
"Well, that must be nice; being you don't get to many normal days."
Ryoko mentally laughed. 'She's got me there.' She thought of the very eventful high school life she has.
'And it all started when he showed up.' Thought Ryoko referring to Shizuma.
"Well, I'm gonna go freshen up for dinner and change out of my uniform."
With that the samurai girl exited the kitchen and went up to her room.
