Gibson was frustrated; it wasn't Sparks being annoying, it wasn't Chiro's difficulty in math, it was a very different problem. It was a problem that had bugged him for quite a while, but he didn't notice it until about 2 months ago, and he could no longer ignore it. It was Antauri; it wasn't that he was irritating or anything; actually it was quite the opposite. He could listen to the silver monkey all day long, and he would if it weren't for outside forces interrupting their time together. He could just sit near the platinum primate and feel as happy as possible. The silver monkey would make his heart palpitate, his stomach flip, and his knees weak. Gibson couldn't help it; Antauri was wise and calm, the only one who would take the scientist's lectures seriously, and he was rather handsome as well… Gibson knew exactly what was wrong with himself, and he hated it so much; he was in love. He was over the moon in love with Antauri. Antauri was calm and rational, while still being compassionate and kind. The platinum primate was Hal's best friend in many ways, and so much more. Both of Antauri's forms were extremely attractive; Fur like midnight and eyes like tsavorite, and then his current form is silver like moon dust and has eyes that are blue as the most beautiful lagoon. Gibson hated himself so much for feeling this affection, because he knew that the likeliness of Antauri returning the affections of 1 to 100. Hal dealt with so many heartbreaks in his school years that he swore off love purely for that reason. But, love isn't something he can hide from forever; he is too much of a hopeless romantic. He certainly has tried to keep away from romance though; he pretended that he was ace purely to keep his team from trying to set him up on dates. But his affection for the silver monkey made life difficult; difficulty concentrating, being a bit overprotective, and he was often paranoid that somebody would find out. Not to mention the image of Antauri haunted him all of mating season, making him defensive towards anyone who got near his love, and just generally out of sorts. Gibson didn't know what to do, he certainly didn't want to tell Antauri, but he had to do something. He wanted to be with the sterling male so badly, but he didn't want a broken heart. He was so confused at what to do. Perhaps leave a note? Some flowers maybe? No, flowers are to forward…Yes, what to do indeed…
Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I had no idea how to end ths…
