Hitaru's Story
Many years ago,
A young father and his child wandered in unknown parts of the forest. Without even noticing, they landed-up in the SPIRIT FOREST. The god of the forest frightened the father so much that he abandoned his child, HITARU. Having no home to go to, the spirits raised her as their own.
At the age of 15, HITARU sets out in a quest for the Shikon Jewel. But, before even reaching the temple, Kykyo, the priestess, trapes her in the temple at the village. 50 years later, like INU-YASHA, she was to be revived by the reincarnated shrin maden, Kagome. Having no home to go to, Hitaru decided to follow the gang in their search for the shards of the Shikon jewel. But, what they do not know, is that many of the demons that they will encounter are Hitaru's ennemy. And they are yet to discover Hitaru's immence powers granted by her HEART CRYSTAL. Also protecting her and aiding her, is her spirit dragon, Haku. He will for ever be at her sides. Her quest will not be of the easyest, fore there will be a menace that was not planed ; Kikyo.
In a village, Hitaru was looking at what the merchants had when a vile man jumped at her and tried to kill her. Mearly to protect herself, she flew up and tried to get rid of the man. When she saw that he was not letting go, she tried to use her powers. She ended up aiming at men and hutches. Kikyo witnessing this scene, she shot Hitaru a first time, as a warning. When Hitaru finaly got rid of the man, she wound up killing more people than getting rid of one. She hated herself. Then, an arrow pierced her right shoulder. It was one of Kikyo's cursed arrows. She had not missed her; she was stuck in a temple, a temple that would become her resting place.
Like Inu-Yasha, she was in that temple for 50 years. And when she woke up, sensing a woman very similar to Kikyo, she evoked her inner demon and ravaged the village. Afterwards, she saw what she had done, and ever since, she is wandering, searching for a way to make up for what she did. So, she joined Inu-Yasha's party of two.
And so begins her journey.
