I was lucky.
I was an only child. Dad worked a good job was never home, mom liked shopping and spending time with her friend and was never home. I was created because it was what all of my moms friends were doing, but they all seemed to get bored and put us off on someone else. Dad gave me attention when he was home but it wasn't nearly often enough.
But I was lucky
Because of my grandmother
And because of my Aunt Elaina
Most of my moms friends got nannys for their kids when they were old enough to talk, but my grandmother had retired and was lonely. So I spent 23 hours a day 6 days a week with her.
It
Was
Marvelous
My grandmother was the most wonderful woman in the world giving me enough love to make up for my absent father and uncaring mother. She would constantly play games and tell me cool stories about witches and monsters. My favorite times were when my aunt would come by and play with me too. Because my aunt you see, she was special
She could do magic
She would always dp cool thing like make herself disappear and turn the colors of her dress into anything I could ask for. I thought it was the coolest stuff in the world, but whenever I would bring it up to my parents my mother would always assure me that it was all in my head and my aunt was playing tricks on me. One time she got so mad that she yelled at my aunt and she disappeared for a whole month. I didn't tell her about it again.
Once I got older, about eight years old, my aunt behan to see if she could teach me how to do the magic tricks. She told me at first that I might not be able to do it right away and I might not be able to do it all but to her surprise and my grandmothers I did it without any trouble. My grandmother and aunt were both thrilled but they told me not to tell my mother yet they wanted to tell her. Until then my aunt came over every single day and help me all the cool magic tricks.
The day that we told my mom was the worst day of my life.
Mom got really angry. Dad who was also there didn't seem happy but he definitely wasn't mad either. But mother, mother was screaming and yelling she grabbed me and pulled me hard way from my aunt. Told me to never see them again, told them they never see me again. I tried telling her not to take them for me I told her I would never do the magic tricks again but she told me to shut up and get in the car. And I did what every eight-year-old would do in a situation but the person who loves the most is being taken from them, I began to cry and then begin to yell. When my mother grab my arm and yanked me towards the door… That's when it happened. The fuse box, the one right next to the front door begin to smoke and then quickly exploded. My father who was nearest pushed me and my mother out the door quickly go this far away and I want to run back in to grab my grandmother and aunt, but he was met with a wall of flames and he could not get through.
When everything was said and done, my father told me it was just a faulty wiring and there's nothing we could've done. But my mother told me because I was like my aunt and I couldn't control myself, I had been the one to cause it. She said I need to learn to control myself, otherwise I would kill and hurt more people. She said that my aunt had been special and unfortunately I was too. Then she told me that she loves me and she was sorry, and then after that I was kept by a nanny 24 hours a day seven days a week unless my father was with me. My mother never spoke to me again.
Nobody was surprised when that letter showed up on my 11th birthday.
