This is a very short oneshot on kleptoshipping from Yugi's point of view. I don't really support the shipping, but I think it would be interesting to hear how Yugi would feel in that relationship (scared, I suspect).

I don't own YuGiOh!

The Light That Would Never Leave

Yugi knew it would never end if he didn't just leave.

It sounded so simple, just having to leave to get away from it. However, it wasn't. Bakura had Yugi wrapped right around his finger, and they both knew it. That's what compelled Bakura further to treat Yugi the way he did.

Yugi's friends told him that he should just get out of the relationship; lead a normal life again. They didn't know anything. They didn't know what it felt like when Yugi made the thief happy, they didn't know how it felt when Yugi and Bakura shared a passionate night together. They could only assume. And with their interpretation of Bakura being sadistic and cold toward anybody, they assumed unfairly.

Although Yugi knew he wasn't being treated by Bakura as someone should be treated by their lover, he somehow enjoyed it. The thrill of it was something Yugi had never experienced before. Bakura wouldn't let Yugi lead the life he once had lead. Bakura seemed to only want Yugi for satisfying his own needs; using Yugi to get what he wanted.

However, Bakura never had been one for expressing his true feelings. And Yugi knew that Bakura really did love him. Even his friends had said they'd never seen Bakura smile like he did when he was with Yugi, even if they didn't agree with the set-up of the relationship.

Yugi knew it would never end if he didn't just leave. And he would never leave, because he didn't want it to end. Ever.
