A graceful little fairy, still new to the world around her, flittered around. She went to differant places and simply watched, wanting to see as much as possible. At first it was great! so many new things to see, but it soon got boring, looking at every flower and tree, but there was one thing she never got tired of. It was a small group, only five spirits. Now Fairies didnt live like the others. Guardians were no differant than any other spirit, but to this new little fairy, these five stuck out to her. The first, and oldest of them, was a small little man with a round little stomach. He glittered in the night just like the Sun. He never spoke, but to the Fairy, his meanings were loud and clear. He was always so happy and nice. He had the best sense of humor and was always ready to help someone. He made glittering trails in the night that took so may forms, but the Fairy knew not to touch. Then there was the Lady.. SHe was part Fairy, that the little one knew, but she was cover in feathers and had other littler DemiFairies to help her. She had big violet eyes that always looked like they were far away, seeing something else. She flew back and forth with such energy that the Fairy knew HUmmingbirds that would be jealous, but one thing was obvious. The Lady was so caring and motherly. There was no way to really Not like her. Then there was the large rabbit. At first she had not liked him. He was surrley and stiff, only caring for his job, but the longer she watched, the more she understood. He cared about his job because Hope was fading, whatever that meant. The rabbit woud never let his friends down and, when he thought no one was looking, his gaze would soften and you could see why he worked with children and "Guarded Hope". Then there was the large happy man. He was always so loud and happy. always eating and creating. being around him always made the little Fairy want to sing and dance. She could instantly see how much he cared for what he did and all those around him. He was always open, ready to give you the benefit of the doubt. Finally, there was her favorite to watch. The Child Spirit. He was cold, and happy, and energetic. He flew to all the intresting places and could always make a child smile. He was Fun. He seemed so young, but so Old at the same time. The first time they had been together, she had no idea how it would work out. Sure enough, Big man sang, Lady flew around, Rabbit and The Child fought, and little man slept. But as they fought together they grew closer. Rabbit teased instead of insulted. Child listened more and Big man talked more softly. Lady sat still and little man "talked" more. The more they were together, the closer they got. The little Fairy watched as friends bacame family. As they stuck together through thick and thin. How they ran to help each other, no matter what was going on. Fianlly, centuries after she first found them, Fairy, now older and wiser, smiled at the Family and flew off, hoping for her own family.
