Abaddon stared silently at the people moving around her.
Humans - small, pathetic, useless; slaves to the wayward ebb and flow of their emotions.
Love, happiness, contentment, despair, pleasure, sorrow, affection, excitement …
Even those courageously crazy Winchester brothers with their tortured love for each other were victims of the damn things.
Humans said that emotion enriched the tapestry of their lives. Abaddon disagreed; it made them weak. The only emotions she needed were anger and hatred.
Standing alone in the shadows, she paused, watching bitterly as two smiling lovers kissed, and walked hand-in-hand to a nearby restaurant.
Oh yeah, and jealousy.
