Rebel war
Prologue
(Note: before reading this story you must have read Phillip Pullman's dark materials.)
It started with a war. This story takes place in Lyra Silvertounge's world, twenty years after the Metatron failed. The Authority has risen back in to power. A small group of rebels resisted the take over in the U.S.A. Over in England Lyra was doing the same thing starting her own resistance. One night the rebel group in the U.S. was having a meeting.
There was a spy for the Authority. He was a small wimpy man. He was shorter than the average person. When he spoke it sounded as if the man was a whistle. He reported each meeting and sent his report to the Authority.
"The Authority is back." Steven said, and then he stopped to let the people gasp and talk along themselves about the topic. "We must fight them with power and sprit of the people with that they can't win anything against our team."
"Steven is right guys the Authority is trying to defeat us. If we lose the whole world will fall in to their hands. We must win against the Authority because they are evil," said Adam.
Steven and Adam were born leaders. Steven was a tall mysterious person. Adam was a tall, calm, and friendly you could know him for a week and feel like you knew forever. The two were the leaders of a group of rebels known as Dust after the elementary particle that is also known as dark matter. They knew of the specters because of the other group led by Lyra Silvertounge, they were know as the Daemons.
The two teams fought against what we know as God. He is not really the creator, but he was the first angel. He lied and told the other he made them. Then a wiser angel realized this and led a rebellion. Then years later Lord Arsial tried to destroy him. Now Dust and Daemons are now fighting the Authority.
The spy was half way back to the Authority's home base. His name was Leo. Leo could not be trusted. He had arrived at the base. He went in and told the Authority what he knew and told him the name of their leader. The next morning the cops were told who Steven was.
When Steven got up his house was surrounded. He put on his black cloak. He ran up on to the roof and jumped from house to house till he reached Adam's apartment. He hid in the shadows till dark.
Then it all started……………
