"Blaine, Blaine?" He stuttered frantically, shaking his arm in slight hope that he would open his eyes and reveal the sparkling hazel Kurt had become so used to. His heart was now beating at a rate he was sure wasn't possible. Why had he done this, why had he taken him out where someone who knew what to do could watch over him? He felt so stupid for letting Blaine convince him that it was all a great idea. They would spend a magical day together, away from everything and everyone. Little did they know that this magical day would end very badly.
Feeling completely helpless, Kurt gave his arm one last shake, still begging him to show him some form of life. Tears fell from his eyes as he tried to think of the right thing to do. Everyone had told him from the start that none of this was a good idea but he hadn't listened. He had been to caught up in the gleaming eyes and voice of an angel to take any of the advice given to him over the short period of time he had known Blaine.
Now, there he was, leaning over the boy he loved so dearly trying to convince himself that this was all a horrible nightmare and that tomorrow he would return to find him happy as ever, greeting him with the usual warm smile.
