Blood Lust
Preface
Gracefully, she swept into the room. By her walk and the way she held herself, you could tell that there was something different about her. Regardless, my eyes were glued to the new girl, a freshman in high school, Katarina Lilith. She was transferred to our school from across the country. She came from some small town in Illinois. It's a week into school which is a weird time to move I guess her father was offered a great job I have heard of him. I believe he runs death fears none productions a roller coaster design firm. She passed my desk, and right then I knew, she was just like me. Our eyes met, and for the moment it was just the two of us in the classroom. I was transformed back to the Egyptian period she strode to me wearing a see through metal sheer crown on her head with that crooked smile she addressed me warmly before placing her lips on mine.
My life sucks. Ever since I was born, my life has been nothing but heart ache. My mother and father died in a car crash when I was 5. Some people say that I was lucky to have been thrown from the car; I don't think they're right. That was the first time I saw an angel. The air was cold. The sky lit up with the small snowflakes falling upon my body. My head hit the hard pavement with a thud. As I started to slip out of consciousness a calming feeling quickly swept over me. Am I dying I thought to myself. A beautiful woman came out of the snow covered street approaching me. Her beautiful figure with wings attached to her back just confirmed my suspicions' of being dead. She was dressed in a green and black dress with a golden crown she spoke softly but I will never forget the words she spoke. You are my child it is not your time to go my son. Seek the answers in this life and you will be come across challenges that you will overcome. She kissed the top of my head and disappeared. I was in so much pain I thought I'd die on this stretch of road. With tons of questions, who was this strange woman? Why did she call me her child? A thousand things passing through my head until darkness swept over me.
