homecoming
Jiraiya watched the small child his student's- no his son's son Minato had been like his son and now this jinchrikki would be his son, he detested that name jinchurikki the power of the human sacrifice, the power of Minato's sacrifice the power of Minato's love of Konoha, he wouldn't let that be in vain, and it was these thoughts that compelled him to take the boy as his own.
12 years later
"well sai this here is danzou, he is from ne anbu and he's here to speak with you" kakashi said as he looked at his pale student "he want's to recuit you for anbu black ops" the boy's eye's widened he hadn't been expecting this
"i accept"
"Pardon"
"i accept kakashi sensei i want to join"
"are you sure you want to join the life of an anbu isn't an easy one" the boy nodded he sighed and shrugged his shoulders "he's all yours Danzou" the man nodded before motioning for Sai to follow him. well there four ma team had been effectively cut down by 25 and they needed a replacement Sai was far to strange for his liking.
"Shunshin no Jutsu" and he vanished in a cloud of smoke.
Later that day
two figures silently approached the gates of Konoha one was a good foot taller than the other and had a wild mane of shaggy white hair and was dressed like a hermit, while the other had medium length blonde hair he wore a white cloak over his upper body and large baggy pants with his fishnet armour protruding from the bottom a sash hung from his belly button to just below his feet. to be honest he looked nothing like a ninja but you could never judge a book by it's cover.
"otosan"
"don't call me that" snapped the elder of the two
"ok ero-senn-"
"or that you know what my name is"
"fine jiraiya it is then old man" he smiled wide as the old hermit shook his head in annoyance he had been like this all week since he told him they would be travelling to konoha to become a ninja like his father namikaze minato the yondaime hokage. out of the mist he began to see the large gates of konoha he had heard so much about thm from his sensei but he had never imagined them to be so breathtaking the old man chuckled.
"i was like that the very first time i saw the gaki there a testament to the shodai and nidaime Hokages they laid the groundwork and built this village from scrap along with a few other powerful ninja." he nodded not really listening to what the old man had to say it didn't matter because he was still mesmerised by the gates
this was going to be his new home for the rest of is life konoha his father had been been a ninja of this hidden village and like his father he would serve this hidden village hoping to one day become it's Hokage another thing he would hope to have in common with his father, he knew so much about the man and yet so little it was all well and good knowing his title and achievement but he would never know the real him until he died.
He felt a comforting hand grip his shoulder looking up he smiled at the old man.
"Are you ready Naruto for your ninja journey to begin"
