When Caitlin O'Connor becomes the new tenant of 221C Baker Street, she finds a quick friend in both Mrs. Hudson and Dr. John Watson. After a rough start, she starts to form a tentative friendship with one Mr. Sherlock Holmes as well. What will the future hold in store for these two, who are so different, yet so alike? Hello all! I know I have been away for a long time but I've been very busy with other "life happenings." So….I've been working on a new idea, which is this story. I rewatched 'Sherlock', (and am in the process of doing it again) and this idea just kind of bloomed. I have been on a roll with it lately, so I hope to finish it quickly. It is my first 'Sherlock' fic so I've tried to keep everyone in character but have probably slipped in and out a few times. So please forgive me. (:

I am putting up these first couple of chapters to test the waters but also, so I can keep working on it. Please don't flame me. I've received some on a couple of my other stories and they really don't help. They just discourage. I am always open to helpful criticism and any ideas you come up with however. I hope you enjoy, and can't wait to hear your comments. That's all for now!
