So, we all remember Cristina's motorbike?

I started off writing this as saying how I thought they could write Sandra out and then I thought why not try my hand at writing. It's proabably not that great and I guess I made it pretty dead end but who knows? If you guys think it's okay I'll see what happens! :)

During the season Cristina got her motorbike back because she wanted to change her life and make a new image for herself. She was riding it to GSH because Owen was about to leave for the army again unless Cristina gave him a reason not to so she was going to confess her love and say she would have his kids, she had thought about this long and hard and decided it was what she wanted. She was riding faster than what she should have been but she wanted to make it in time to see Owen, she was about 5 minutes from GSH when the unthinkable happened. Cristina crashed. She started thinking about the night with Owen and swerved off the road into a tree on the side of the road.

Owen (being a trauma surgeon) gets the page that a motorbike accident is coming and he treats it like any other case but then he gets to the ambulance and sees Cristina and he just breaks down and punches a hole in the glass. After he calms down he goes to see Cristina but it's to late she's gone. He goes over to her bag and in it are many items. Her t-shirt that she is not allowed to wear when they argue, she planned to wear it that night. Her wedding rind, she planned to put that on again and ask Owen to do the same. Her phone, the messages he reads are all to Meredith on how she loved him and how she couldn't live without him. Lastly he pulls out another bag, he opens it and discovers inside a onesie with World's Best Dad printed on it. This is how Season 10 ends with Owen standing there holding this onesie in one hand and Cristina's lifeless hand in the other.

Season 11 begins with Owen at Cristina's grave placing flowers on it. It's been 4 weeks and everyday he goes there's and sits with her. Each day he brings a new bunch of flowers, each with a different message. The messages are on little cards and say things like, I imagine such a huge life for us or I love you so much it hurts. Owen still can't return to GSH, Meredith just walks around in disbelief. She, like Owen, cannot be consoled. She can't bring herself to visit her best friends grave. Derek deosn't know what to do, he has once again taken up the job of chief as Owen is absent. The hospital has a different feel now, no one laughs, no one smiles, no one hangs out. Cristina Yang was a part of everyone, whether she was there mentor, friend or someone they passed in the hall. She was the next big thing and no one believes she is gone.

The season goes on, we haven't heard from Owen for a while, Meredith is doing okay. Just okay. Derek goes to visit Owen to make sure he's okay, the door is unlocked. Derek walks in and looks around calling out Owen's name looking around at his filthy surroundings. Derek peers into the distance and he can see something in the bathroom but he is not sure what it is. He walks closer and falls to the floor.

*Season 11 ends*
