This is a prequel to 'Rise of Enigma, Lord of Deadly Chaos' and serves as my origin for Celestia, and to some extent Discord.
It is recommended you read Rise of Enigma first.
Roughly 1000 years ago in Alicornia.
We see a red haired, white Alicorn mare named 'Lauren Faust'
she is at a stand, attempting to make money.
"COME OOON! DOESN'T ANYONE WANT THEIR PICTURE DRAWN?!" She asks with a sigh
We see a cheerful filly Celestia walk up to her stand.
She smiles, and puts a Bit onto the board.
"You can draw my picture Mommy!"
Lauren laughs
"Thanks honey...
I can't accept this money though, this is your allowance, go get some lunch with it."
Celestia smiles.
"OK!"
As Celestia skips away, she hears Lauren say.
"I'm always happy to sketch you though!" she says, beginning to draw a portrait of her family.
a blue haired Alicorn named 'Craig' walks up to the stand.
"Tough day huh?" he asks
Lauren sighs again.
"UUUUUGGH! IT ALWAYS IS!
Why did both our talents have to be art? why couldn't they be something that makes more?!"
Craig leans against it.
"Well i'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
but they're taking our house."
Lauren's shock causes her to flip over, dropping the paint brush onto the ground.
"SERIOUSLY?! YOU CAN"T BE SERIOUS!
We missed one payment on it...uughh.. where are we gonna stay?"
Craig sighs
"My brother..said we could stay with him, we just gotta tell the kids."
Lauren scratches her head
"That's the problem, Rota loves where we live...
how can we tell her?"
Craig replies
"Just remind her how much she loves her cousins Sterling and Gold Lily before you break the news,
that'll soften the blow."
Lauren sighs once again.
"You're right Craig... thanks, i'll go tell them.."
