This is a one-shot story. My friends asked me to write a story about Elsa and Jack. I asked them if it was a romance story. They said it can be any genre. And so I made one.

Dark Secrets: The Queen, The Guardian and the Gem

"Hello, there." I saw someone interested to hear some stories. They always come to me for a good story. "To the people who are new here, you may call me as Oliver the Omniscient. If you are here for a story, I have a lot just for you. The amazing thing about my stories is that it's not fiction. They all happened here." I saw smiles on their faces. "So, which one do you want to hear?

We want to hear about a girl meets a boy. They said.

"Alright. Let me see." I checked my journal. "Oh! I have one. Only I can remember this. It's one of the Dark Secrets in this world. It's about the young queen Elsa and the spirit Jack Frost. Do you like what happened?"

Yes! They seemed to be excited.

"Well, it is not a romance story. Forgive me." I heard their sighs and disappointment. "But I promise you that I will find one. This one is about how they meet and how it goes. Are you guys ready to listen?" I asked them.

YES! They yelled with joy.

"You know the Guardians that I told you about? They are here in this story." I cleared my throat and start. "The story starts when the Guardians were attacked by Lady of Great White, a follower of Pitch Black aka the Bogeyman. The Guardians were defeated easily by this mysterious lady."

How is that possible? One of the young ones asked.

"This is the story. Just listen." I said. "The Guardians were defeated. And with his last words, North told the young winter spirit to flee and find a way to stop the threat. So he did." I paused, trying to remember what happened next.

"Now at Arendelle, Queen Elsa had her a great time being a big sister and the queen of her home kingdom. All the crazy things that happened between her sister is over and as you may know, she's starting a new day."

When will Jack appear? One of them asked.

I continued. "But everything changed when the Guardian Jack Frost appeared and asked for her help. He explained to her that the guardians were slaughtered by the Lady in White. Of course, her first reaction to see a ghost was blasting him with her ice powers. Pew! Pew! Pew! He dodged every blast she threw at him. Jack tried to calm her down, telling her that he's harmless. Then she screamed, 'Guards! Guards! Help!' Her guards quickly responded but when they came there, there was no one but their queen. They can't see Jack."

They all laughed. I think it's funny that a queen can see Jack but not her guards.

"Knowing that Jack is a ghost, she told her guards to leave. Now that Jack has a time to explain. He told the queen, 'I have come to you because I need your help.' 'What do you want? Elsa asked him. He answered, 'I need to find the Opal of Vouet."

What can it do? They all asked me.

"I'll tell you later. And so Elsa knew about the gemstone and so she's willing to help him. Jack explained that the gemstone is the only thing that can stop the Lady in White. The big reason why she's helping him was because the gem was cursed and she remembered her father telling her that the gem is dangerous to be used and needed to be destroyed. However, they can't destroy it and so they kept it hidden."

So Elsa wants give it away to Jack. To get rid of it forever.

"Yes! And so, Elsa took Jack to the Opal. With the help of her father's book of legends, they have finally found the secret location of the gemstone. They went passed the traps and reached to the room where the opal is. As they arrived, Jack quickly snatches it and apologized to Elsa. He reveals to her that the Lady in White was actually Elsa herself from the future. Jack too was from the future. He was sent to the past by his friends who all died at the hands of this Evil Elsa."

They commented. That escalated quickly.

"Jack's plan was to change the past, find a way to prevent Elsa for getting her powers!" I heard them gasping. "But he promised to her that he will not harm or kill anyone in the past. Elsa told him to stop and think it through. However, the guardian did not listen and used the opal to go back in time. As he disappeared, Elsa felt her surroundings changing. A powerful bright light showers upon her and later, disappeared. Every blink she made, few things around her slowly disappeared until she opens them wide. She's living in a new timeline."

My audience were interested what happened next. They asked me, What happens next?

"Elsa finds herself in an isolated and frozen room. She looks around and saw a wooden staff who belongs to Jack Frost. She looks around again but then she thought about her home and her sister Anna. Using Jack's staff, she flew back to Arendelle. She realized that she was from the cave where the opal was kept hidden. It's like the secret chamber was never created. As she arrived, she saw there was a big funeral ceremony. Elsa asked few of the villagers what happened. They answered that their Queen, Anna, died."

They screamed. What happened?

"In horror, Elsa went in to the castle to see for herself. There, she saw her beloved sister in a glass coffin, lying peacefully. Elsa ran towards her dear sister's coffin but she was stopped by a familiar face. It was Prince Hans and he has become the King of Arendelle. He secretly killed Anna just to gain power."

They all yelled in anger. We hate him!

Yeah! We really hate him!

Burn!

But then someone said, But he's kinda cute.

Everybody paused and looked at that person.

To break the silence, I continued, "So Elsa, using her rage, blasted the monster away but the people of Arendelle didn't recognize her at all and attacked her, thinking she's a freak and intruder. So Elsa left. She went back to the frozen room and there she met Jack Frost again who is carrying a bag of food. He was surprised that she woke up. 'Oh, you're awake. I brought your favorite.' But then Elsa apprehended him and interrogates him. She asked what he has done. Jack knew it was her! Her memories came back. He immediately answered to her. 'I tried to stop you for gaining your powers but I discovered you were born with it. So I decided to take you away from Arendelle when you were a baby. For many years of taking care of you, you have reached your mature age.' Elsa saw the gemstone, with one touch, her memories of the old past appeared and that is why Elsa woke up in a different timeline. Crazy, right?"

Yeah. It's crazy.

"So Elsa takes the gemstone and plans to use it. Jack warned her that if she gets back, his friends will die because of her. The queen has another idea. She used the gem and went far to the future. Then Elsa arrived at Jack's time and saw her future self heading towards a castle, where the Guardians are. Elsa charges in. With Jack's staff, she strikes her dark future self. Elsa and the Lady in White battled." I explained how the battle goes specifically.

Every punch.

Every kick.

Every move they made. I told them all about it.

"After Elsa manage to defeat her future self, another powerful light shined on her and the timeline has changed. Elsa opened her eyes and found herself in her room. She's back at Arendelle."

It was just a dream? They were disappointed.

"Elsa went outside to look for her sister and later, finds her with Kristoff, who the two just got back from their trip at the North Mountains. She gave Anna a warm hug and told her that she missed her so much. Anna, who doesn't know what happened, replied back with a small smile. Anna missed her also."

That's it?

"Wait. There's more! As the sisters went back to the castle, Elsa saw the opal on her desk."

Oh my! It was not a dream!

"Elsa took the gem and kept it in her secret box."

The end!

"Not yet!"

What?

"Meanwhile, at the far future, Pitch Black was bewildered how his possessed entity of Elsa was defeated and he felt a strange sensation when it happened. A man from the dark answered to the Bogeyman, 'You did a good job, Pitch.' 'What did we achieve here?' The bogeyman asked.

"He made a lecture to Pitch about Arendelle's tradition. 'Do you know when Royals die, they get to keep their precious items with them in their graves?' Now that the opal has been discovered, they can now retrieve it from Queen Elsa's tomb, the gemstone was safely hidden in a small wooden casket. The man told Pitch Black that was the plan from the beginning."

Then there was silence. My audience were surprised to hear the ending. Few of them asked me, Who's the man from the dark? And why would this man want the gem anyway? And are you sure that was real?

"I have the opal and I saw it that means it's real. Well, it never happened... yet."

You saw this future and you have no plans to stop this?

"No. It will rip the timeline and cause a Reality Quake. If that happened, you guys will enter and terrorized the worlds." I explained my reasons. "I'm sorry. I know how you guys wanted to enter the material world but Mortals and Shadow People don't mix."

My audience, the young Shadow People, felt sad. But they agreed with me. Alright. We understand. But you know somebody will open it for us. Eventually.

"Yes. But it will take years to rip open Reality."

All right then. They all started to leave. Great story, Oliver. Maybe next time, you'll tell us more about your world. It's fascinating.

"Sure. The world is such a beautiful place."

See you later, Oliver. She said. I can see her waving back at me.

I waved too. "See you later too, Nyx." Now the Shadow People left, I went back to my work as the narrator of the world. But I can't ignore what's beyond there. I looked at the end of the 'time' stream and there I saw three entities watching and waiting at the end of Time. These three are the personifications of doom.

I pray that someone can stop them even without my help.

I just hope.
