It was raining, and his hair was clinging to his face, and the ball refused to bounce right when he hit it, and overall everything was feeling fucking shit. And even though his hair was sticking to his face, he was sure it still looked like seaweed.
Akaya grit his teeth. Stupid Sanada and his stupid idea of a stupid training camp in Chiba, because "they have excellent facilities, and low percentage of rainy days". Low percentage his ass. He had yet to see the sun once in the two weeks they had already spent here. He would so crush Sanada for this.
And, even worse, they had gone to where Rokkaku Chuu was located. Annoying. There hadn't been one day where those happy-go-luck idiots hadn't dropped by during their practice. Which had delighted Sanada and Yukimura, because playing against them would help them gain a lot of experience.
Akaya growled. He could gain experience without a bunch of airheads around him. Which was precisely why he was practicing outside. Alone. Never mind the rain, at least he could train in peace.
"You're going to catch a cold if you stay here, you know."
Scratch that. Akaya growled, ready to jump whoever dared to disturb his solitude. And promptly wondered since when Rokkaku had a girl's team. She was kind of pretty though…
He blinked. Bad thoughts. Bad, bad thoughts. What was that girl doing here anyway? With that long hair of hers she'd catch a cold way faster than him, and besides, her shirt was clinging dangerously to her chest (she was strangely flat, he noted) and the white pants were starting to become see-through.
Akaya blushed upon this realisation, the redness becoming worse when the girl got closer to him and started waving her hand in front of his face.
"Hey, anybody home?"
It was then that he noticed Jackal approaching them, umbrella protecting him from the rain. "Akaya, Sanada says you're supposed to get inside again right now or it'll be 50 laps per day once we get back home. Kisarazu-san, you shouldn't stay out in this rain either, you wouldn't want to catch a cold."
Akaya's howls of embarrassment probably were to be heard all over Japan that day.
