Okay, people, this is an A/u fic, that I've been working on for quite some tyme(hee hee hee) the only problem is I dont' know what is happening on buffy. So some of my info is quite dated. PLEASE FORGIVE.It does veer off into Angel istead of Buffy, see, when I wrote this chappy, I hadn't heard that Sunnydale gets blown up. Regardless, we'll be moving back to L.A. next chapter, probably.
Angel stood out side of 1320 Revello Drive. The lights were on, and he could see a silloette in the second story window. Boards, expertly nailed, were covering the left first story window.
~ Connor~ Angel thought, as he remebered his son, smiling, laughing...
The world Angel could never give him...
Connor didn't matter anymore, he wasn't a part of this. He was... gone now. No use looking back. No use looking back.
~Sometimes, old boy, you should follow your own advice~ Every time the term Sunny came up, all he could think of was Sunnydale.. and with Sunnydale came *her*.
Buffy.
Suddenly, I was charged by an unknown enemy. The person charged at me , stake wielded, and having the confidence only a trained killer had. From a short perspective, it was a female about 17, about six feet tall, with well toned muscles. That was all I could get, until the woman slammed into nme, and threw me to the pavement. She brought the stake down in one sweeping movement, too fast for even my vampire senses to catch. I grimaced, and closed his eyes waiting for death....
It didn't come. Carefully I opened his eyes, and saw the girl, glaring over me, the stake centimeters from my heart. the girl stood up, and shoved the stake in her pocket. She offered a hand to help me up, which he batted away before standing up.
"You're Angel?"
"How'd you know?"
"you're aura." she said simply, as if it explained all of it. and scanned the darkness, as if searching for something. "Come on, Buffy will want to see you."
HUH?
but I followed her, behind the house, over the fence, and to the back yard. I had never been in this area of the Summer's house, and it was beautiful. A large oak tree stood in the middle, but from it I could smell the faint sent of....blood?(season 6, I know I know) I growled when I regonized it as being buffy's blood. The girl turned to me her eyes flashed suddenly, and then she smiled
"don't worry about it, that was where Warren shot her. It's not that fresh, blood hound"
I turned to her, puzzled "Why aren't you afraid of me?"
"Should I be?" she questioned, twirling the thin stake between her fingers.
"Maybe you shouldn't trust me." I warned her. She just laughed softly and turned away, into buffy's house.
Into my past....
