"JOY,"Patricia yelled as she saw Rufus pull the trigger and watched as Joy fell to the ground.
Patricia woke with tears in her eye's,she had been having nightmares about losing her friend for a long time.
The goth looked over at the little brunette sleeping peacefully.
Patricia didn't know what it was but she felt she had to protect Joy,and at the moment she wanted nothing more than to hold her.
Patricia got out of bed and walked over to the sleeping brunette.
"Joy,"Patricia whispered.
"Patricia what are you doing up?"Joy asked as she sat up in her bed.
"I need to talk to you,"Patricia said.
"Okay,"Joy said.
"Ever since you've been back I've been having nightmares about losing you,"Patricia admitted.
"What do me mean losing me?"Joy asked.
"Well I have nightmares of you dying somehow,and because of what happened with you being locked away I feel I need to protect you,"Patricia said.
"Patricia you're not going to lose me,"Joy said giving her friend a reassuring smile.
"I can't help it Joy after everything that happened and I was so worried about you,"Patricia exclaimed.
"Listen Joy there's something I need to tell you,"Patricia said.
"Okay,"Joy said.
"Joy when you disappeared I realized I loved you,"Patricia said nervously.
"Really?"Joy asked.
"Really,"Patricia said.
"Patricia I've had a crush on you since we met,"Joy admitted.
The redhead felt her heart race as she tried to take in what Joy just said.
"You have a crush on me?"Patricia asked.
"Yes I do,"Joy said.
"Joy I know you haven't made your mind yet but would you consider being my..."
"The readhead didn't get to finish her gasped as she felt Joy's soft lips against her own.
Patricia pulled Joy closer and melted into the kiss.
Joy's heart raced as she felt passion shoot through her.
Maybe nightmares weren't such a bad thing after all.
