"Alright, everyone is here, correct?" A chorus of replies filled the academy classroom. The female nodded in approval. Adjusting the glasses perched on her face, she turned to the blackboard. "Okay listen up, as you all know today is July 23rd, also know as Sasuke-kun's birthday."

She stretched, grabbing the chalk, then began to show her poorly drawn plan on the board. The group behind her were only able to identify the stick figure as Sasuke and rectangles as a cake. Everything else was too complicated for even their well trained eyes to decode.

"As you can see, there are three groups."

"There are?"

"Where, does she mean those big blobs?"

"I dunno man, just go with it." They whispered to each other so that she wouldn't hear them. If the kunoichi heard what they said she'd beat them all till they were black and blue.

"Team one will focus on the cake, team two will set up the party area, and team three will make sure Sasuke-kun doesn't find out what's going on." She turned back around to make sure she still held their attention.

Everyone seemed to be following along besides the two blondes and a the sleeping Nara, but that was normal. She continued to fill them in.

"The group keeping an eye on Sasuke will consist of Shikamaru, Naruto, Choji, Juugo, Karin, and Kiba."

Few groans were admitted from some of the guys, and the red haired girl almost squealed with joy. Ignoring them, the pinkette announced who would take part in the second group.

"Tenten, Shino, Lee, Neji, and Sai will work on setting up," she paused, waiting for the brief commotion to end. "Then Hinata, Ino, Suigetsu, and I will make the cake. Any questions?"

"Why are we doing this for that prick?"

"He's our friend, you dumbass."

"Are you sure this is the type of thing Sasuke's into?"

"Yeah, he's pretty antisocial."

"But Sakura-chan, Sasuke-teme hates cake!"

"Forehead, you're horrible in the kitchen!"

"So this is what you guys were doing." All commotion ended and the entire group froze. Said birthday boy strutted into the room, still covered in bruises from his last mission.

'Crap'

Sakura had almost face-palmed. The one thing she hadn't remembered during planning was Sasuke's mission. Of course he had decided to search for them, or her specifically. The Uchiha was very picky about going to the hospital and only agreed to let his former teammate and the hokage herself to heal him.

"Um, surprise..." Sakura whispered meekly, clearly embarrassed that her idea had backfired. He looked down at her blushing form before glancing at the rest of his friends. The party would have done nothing but annoy him considering his tiresome mission that had ended in success.

He would have loved to just return home, shower, and find a good book to read.

But...

"Hn, let's just go for barbecue instead, this party you guys were planning just sounds like a headache."

Hanging with his friends seemed more fitting for the occasion.

Happy Birthday Sasuke! Ugh, I am so lazy, sorry guys.
