It was 3 in the afternoon. Shikamaru was walking in the woods with his hands in his pocket. He just finnished his training lessons with Asuma Saratobi, and now he has the rest fo the day to do whatever he wants. While he was walking, he began to think about Ino.

He walked for at least an hour, when he stopped by a lake. He looked at his reflection. Am I good enough for Ino thought Shikmaru as he looked at his reflection. He jumped over the stones that were in the lake and made it to the other side. There he continued to walk.

He looked at the sky as he was walking. Then he stopped. One of the clouds cought his eyes. He stared at the cloud for a minute. The cloud he was looking at was shaped as a heart. Shikamaru sighed. Would Ino ever like me? thought Shikamaru. Ino, Ino, Ino! All Shikamru was thinking of was Ino. He knew that she liked Sasuke, but could she also like him? Shikamaru continued to walk.

Shikamaru walked for at least an hour again and stopped at a hill, were he saw the sunset. He laid on grass and looked up at the sky. He closed his eyes. He laid there for four minutes, when he heard a familiar voice. Shikamaru opened his eyes. It was Ino. Shikamru eyes widened. He got up. Ino smiled at him. Shikamru began to blush. "Hi" said Ino as she smiled. "Uh...Hi" said Shikamaru as he blushed.

Ino and Shikamaru began to talk. Shikamru's heart began to pound. He felt so warm. Her voice made him feel calm. Shikamaru never felt this feeling before. Could this be love thought Shikamaru. They both looked up at the sky. Ino didn't notice but, while she was watching the clouds, she placed her hand on top of Shikamaru's.

Shikamaru blushed. He looked at Ino, and then he looked at their hands. He knew right away, this was a sigh...some how he knew it was a sigh. So he placed his hand over hers and held her hand in his. Ino began to blush. She felt her hand being held in Shikamaru's. She smiled. Ino moved closer to Shikmaru and leaned her head against Shikamaru's shoulder.

Shikamaru blushed. But he knew, this was a good sigh...some how he knew. He leaned his head on hers. Then Ino spoke. "Shikamaru, I love you," said Ino. Shikamaru frozze. His heart felt all fuzzy and warm. He had nothing else but to reply with four simple words. "I love you too"
