If Giovanni Rocketto was the leader of the most notorious criminal organization of all time, how was he able to be Gym Leader of the Viridian City Gym? Furthermore, if he was able to be a Gym Leader, what was stopping him from becoming a member of the Elite 4, the governing body of the region of Kanto? He could have ruled the entire region if he so desired. What was stopping him?
From the beginning of Giovanni's "reign", it was clear that darkness would soon overwhelm the land. Giovanni would do anything to rise to the top, and he nearly did.
In this story of rape, bribary, deceit, blackmail, and lies, it would almost be impossible to find any ray of hope, but if you look close enough, you'll find it all with the other 7 Gym Leaders.
Authors Note: I always write stories, and I always think they stink. One or two of them were good/promising, but naver really came to fruition.
Now to explain the title. I've never read the book "Beneath the Sycamore Tree" or whatever it was called, but the title came mind. I wasn't thinking about it at all, or anything remotely similar, but it just popped up. Creative, no?
Anyway, I will post the first chapter after I get 5 or so reviews. The story, as a whole, is kind of graphic with rape and whatnot, so if you don't like it, or if you're younger than 16, an age I deem mature enough, and an age recommended by the site, although it's still not recommended to read it if your 15 or below (and I'm 15 myself), then please don't read it.
With your reviews, I will not tolerate flaming. I want an honest review that will help me with my writing, but don't act like you have a stick up your butt.
