Drabble Challenge

1. Sword in Hand
Sword in hand, the girl sprinted into the battlefield, acting as the reinforcements. Servants of the enemy were her only target. She raised her sword, clashing it against her opponent's weapons. She dodged arrows with her superhuman reflexes.
She was the daughter of Ares. A famous one too -Maybe even a little infamous. At least, that's how she liked to picture herself. Smiling, she slipped back into the battle, dropping her sword, and retrieved a heavy crossbow from a fallen warrior. She tried to shoot, but seeing that it was crushed, dropped it. She grabbed her trusty sword, and charged.
2. Becoming One
May ducked past camp barrier, curiosity running through her. It was dark, but she could hear sounds of chatting and laughing echoing. She turned to the left to see a large campfire, which was surrounded by happy campers. Feeling slightly foolish, having no idea where she was supposed to sit, May found an empty spot near the back. Some turned and stared at her. She stared at her feet.
The next morning she was announced a daughter of Athena. She started to learn how to ride a horse, and how to sword fight.
Now? She's the best warrior in camp.
