I was sweating profusely, and tired beyond my belief "C'mon Jacobson, Kim! Hurry" My name is Chris, "It's gaining guys FASTER!" My school friends and I saw this… thing on our usually boring way home from school "GRAAAAAAAAAWH!" 'oh crap' I thought, there it was, nimbly stalking over, it looked like a huge goat but its head was that of a lion and "SSSssSssSs" was heard, I turned my head to meet a startling yet not unexpected sight "Great a snake tail" I yelled sarcastically as it angrily growled and once again slowly stalked forward "guys listen" I commanded.

"Yeah Chris?" asked Jacobson I replied with sadness and malice both present in my tone of voice "Jacobson take Kim and run I will hold it off as long as I can" he looked at me with surprise which quickly turned into a gasp "Chris I can't leave you with this… this beats!" Kim cried out in despair, I shot a look at Jacobson and he got the message and said "c'mon Kim we have to hide!" I chuckled silently at Jacobson's antics before the beast quickly jumped at me… wait this thing seems familiar from Ancient Greek class… The Chimeda? No, Dimera? No, Chimera that's it! And its weakness is lead! I suddenly had a brilliant idea "Kim wait! Chuck me the pencils!" she looked at me puzzled "Why? It's a freaking monster what will pencils do?" I laughed as she angrily threw the at me, the Chimera still quietly circling me it's stare sending cold shivers down my spine "it's the Chimera, its weakness is lead!" as the words left my mouth realisation dawned on her face as I took out the pencils but just my luck the Chimera noticed and its eyes widened and it roared an atrocious roar spewing green flames at me, taking the chance I threw the pencil at its mouth, the lead going down its throat and suffocating it, at the price of getting hit by the flames, Kim shrieked "NOO CHRIS" as I prepared for my death but to my surprise it never came, I didn't get burnt to a crisp, I just felt renewed & I cheered as the Chimera dissolved into golden dust, Jacobson and Kim came over and ferociously crash tackled me into the ground with a hug "I'm so glad you're ok bro!" I heard Jacobson murmur "but what happened with the fire?" I shrugged at him, I didn't know what happened myself, then suddenly I heard a chuckle and a hooded figure stepped into the clearing they said in a soothing voice "I think I can answer that"
