The ginger froze right on the spot, eyes slowly widening until they were as large as balloons. Very slowly-and reluctantly-she began to turn, eyes type narrowed. When she'd made a one-eighty, she took a short breath to prepare for... whatever she was about to see.
What she saw made her heart sink to the pit of her stomach and turned her blood to jelly. She could even feel the arctic breath on the nape of her neck, sending chills snaking down her back and causing goosebumps to erupt from her baby skin, as cold fear began to rise to the core of her throat preventing her from saying anything and squeezing her insides.
Amber eyes were dead, blanch and dull of life. A tan mouth hanged opened, drool mixed with blood kept oozing from the very corner of that mouth and golden tresses leaked in warm liquid. And just as the eyes stopped moving, well so did the body, too.
"E-Edward...E-Ed... E..E...ED!" Renessa screamed as it echoed into the sheer white silence.
The only sound that came from the naked silence was that booming siren and nothing else.
