A Poem for Freddy Krueger.
Good night and sleep tight my little child.
Innocent soul, so tender and mild.
I will tell you a tale of day's past.
Of an evil man who breathe his last.
In an ocean of flame and fire.
While being called a killer and liar.
The children of Elm Street, this man did slaughter.
Behind the backs of his wife and daughter.
Until the day he was caught by the law.
The people wanted to smash his jaw.
But one mistake, someone did make.
And Freddy was free, with more lives to take.
The parents of Elm Street took the law in their own hands.
And vowed to kill that evil man.
They burned him alive in a boiler room.
The hellish fire sealing his doom.
Now he kills people in their dreams.
Tearing apart their sanity at the seams.
What's that my little precious child?
Your eyes huge with fear so wild.
Well of course he's real. You're looking at him.
Welcome to my world, Kim.
