There once was a girl named Rose Weasley. She was small, with hair as red as the flower she was named for and blue eyes and a constellation of freckles across her face and shoulders. Rose was a dreamer. She'd sit in class and stare off into the distance, dreaming. Big dreams of fame and glory and fortune. Little dreams of things every girl desired- nice hair, perfect skin, a prettier face, a caring boyfriend to hold her at night. There once was a girl named Rose Weasley, and she was a dreamer.

There once was a boy named Scorpius Malfoy. He was tall and thin, pale-skinned with blonde hair the flopped onto his face, and gray eyes. Every morning he got up and dragged himself through the day, counting down hours until he would be tired enough to go back to sleep. He had no hopes or dreams. Instead he had mountains of money and queues of girls that wanted him and the most expensive broomstick in the school. He smirked and sneered and sauntered about the castle. There was was a boy named Scorpius Malfoy who had no dreams.

There once was a boy named Scorpius and a girl named Rose, and they hated and loathed each other. Their arguments were titanic. She'd screams and he'd shout, hexes and jinxes and curses would be fired from their wands. She'd turn as red as her hair. He'd turn white, his eyes would narrow, his fists would clench, and he'd get a look on his face that would've sent a lesser being than Rose Weasley running. If he was ice than she was fire. She'd storm off in the end, so mad she was crying, calming herself down by resuming a dream about far away lands and princes and princesses and love. He'd stalk off, shaking with fury, retreating to a dark corner to soak in his rage, uninterrupted.

They hated each other.

(Or so they thought)

Because there's a thin line between love and hate, and because once upon a time, he kissed her and made all her dreams come true.

And once upon a time, she kissed him a reason to dream and live and love.

There was was a boy named Scorpius and there was was a girl named Rose and they fell in love and bickered/lived happily ever after.

A/N: Excuse the cheesy bullshit. This is the result of listening to Taylor Swift at 2 AM after having a late night Disney movie marathon. Review, please!
