Fallen Angel

I've felt nearly every emotion there is toward you. Sometimes
the anger has been nearly too much to bear. The angels and the
demons both have their marks on you. I often wonder if they
knew what they were bargaining with when they made such a risky
claim, however.

I am changed forever by our meeting, our struggling. Between
warmth and chill and somewhere between horror and awe you
affected me in more ways than even you could know.

Of all the things that have struck me concerning you, there is
one irony that is attached to our destiny that strikes me more
than any of the other things combined. For all your desire to
posess me, you are and have always been my fallen angel,
Muraki-san.

Author's Notes: I would like to thank my friends Lesell Charis
and Literary Eagle for standing by me during my occasional *cough*
episodes of fangirlishness, and just support in general. They
also looked over this ficlet and told me what absolutely, positively
had to go before I could attach their names to the bottom. Heh heh,
they're both great people and I could write paragraphs about each of
them, but I feel I should keep the notes shorter than the fic...as
hard as that is.

Peace out.
