My champion
"We're going back to the common room ok Hermione?" said Ron.
"See you there I just need five minutes." she said as she hard on the stone steps.
Looking in to the lake, she wished for one sign of Viktor's ship coming back for her but it didn't. He didn't.
She felt as tears split over. She loved him so much and it was in fair he had left here, she thought.
The last few months when she had been in his arms had been the bests of her life.
She had felt alive; she hadn't just been a book worm. She had been, well she didn't know how to describe it expect happy.
She had never been that happy before and now he was gone she doubted she ever would again.
"I love you," she said to the water.
She had been so much more than just a girl to him and he had made sure she had known that.
When she thought of the Yule ball, god her heart was still set a flutter.
He had treated her like a princess and he had been there for her and her only. He had made her so hard. He only had eyes for her. She had never felt so good about herself.
Laughing through her upset she thought to their last good bye.
He had been so upset and had shown through tears of his own.
If she ha been any other girl she might have worried he would cheat on her but no Hermione knew her Viktor. He was as loyal to her as a Hufflepuff to his friends.
As Cedric to his friends. As he had been.
"I don't care who won," she spoke to the lake. "Your always be my champion, Viktor." she said with a slight laugh.
She wished he could her him reply. She wished he was here. She wished he could wrap her in his arms and hold her again making her feel the safety he always did.
"See you soon my darling." she said to the lake and turned.
She had to go on with or with out him.
"This isn't the end," she told her self. They would be together. Soon…
