Disclaimer: I still do not own Stargate in any of it's forms. Never have, never will.

A/N: This was inspired by challenge #6 on the SGFFChallenges group on Livejournal (Look it up!).

Looking up at the open wormhole, Major John Sheppard realized something important:
He didn't want to leave Earth.

On second thought, he didn't care whether he lived on Earth, Mars, Atlantis,
or a giant spinning potato chip hurtling through space at unthinkable speeds. Although the potato chip held the most promise in his mind.

No, what he was gonna miss like hell was his baby. He'd spent some of the best years of his life with her, learning what she loved, what she hated, and everything in between.
Man, he would never forget the last night he spent with her. It was heaven. A heaven
underpinned by the knowledge that he could never be with her again.

That hurt him more then he would admit.

He loved her lines, her color. To others she might not be much to look at, but to him she was gorgeous.
He'd never forget the feel of her under his hands, or the incredible heights she brought him too.

Yeah, he was definitely gonna miss that helicopter.
