Crookedjaw purred as he saw the blue-grey she cat pad his way. Bluefur, the most amazing cat ever and she was all his.
"Crookedjaw," She purred, walking to him and rubbing her cheek on hs .
She sat beside himand intertwined their tails together.
Crookedjaw stared at his mate. her fluffy blue fur shone in the moonlight, turning her fur into silver. She almost looked like a cat from StarClan. So beautiful and raident.
"So how is RiverClan?" She asked, turning her blue gaze on her mate.
"RiverClan is good. I was named new deputy when Shellheart died..." Crookedjaw said, his voice fading as he thought of his father. His father died content knowing his mate, Rainflower, still loved him and Crookedjaw.
Bluefur was quiet for a moment, knoing she felt awful for his loss. he had lost both of his parents. She knew she'd make sure he wouldn't lose her too.
She then looked up to the sky and stared at Silverpelt.
"Crookedjaw... do you think StarClan knows what we are doing?" She asked, leaning close to him and stairing at him with big blue eyes.
"if they knew, they aren't angy. look at the moon," he said, facing the moon, which was as clear as te sun is in the morning.
"no Clouds..." Bluefur murmured.
"No clouds at all. Wouldn't you take that as a sign from StarClan?" Crookedjaw asked, his eyes on Bluefur's.
"I guess so. I guess so."
They spent the whole night at the lake just sharing tougnes and enjoying each others company. At the end of the night, Bluefur was curled around Crookedjaw. You couldn't tell where one cat started and the other ended. They were locked in that position for a long time.
The yell of a cat woke Bluefur from her slumber. She rose her head and r yawned loudly. She widnened her eyes. This wasn't the Thunderclan warriors den. This was Riverclan territoru. She looked around. Then she rememebred. Crookedjaw.
And where was he?
"THUNDERCLAN!" A brown tabby tom yelled.
Bluefur got to her paws shakily. She looked franticly for Crookedjaw , only to find him a few tail lengths in front of her, growling at the tom who yelled.
"Oakheart, why are you here?" He growled, his hackles raised.
"Dear brother, do not use that voice with me. I'm only trying to drive this she-cat off our territory."
Bluefur stared at crookedjaw. They had been found out.
