A Note of the Apocalypse
In Japan in 2035 Death Notes rained from the sky when the Shinigami King accidentally tipped them all into the Human World. For generations, there were thousands of Kiras and Ls roaming around in the Human World until 3994. The only way the King could take away the Notes and restore balance would be to create such a dramatic imbalance that it would rock back into place. This backfired, though the Notes were taken out of the world, the users of the Notes were turned into soul-less zombies and their offspring were torn between the world of Shinigami and Human. This in turn became known as "Vampire" for lack of a new term. The "Vampire's" thirst for death and blood came to be controlled. However the Birth Givers were still without souls and the only way to obtain inner peace was to eliminate their offspring.
Only the daughter of a Shinigami and a Note user would restore true humanity to the world and peace between a deathless generation, when she fell in love. This was named "The Apocalypse" for it would end the world as any one could remember it. The following entries are recordings of the events that took place leading up to "The Apocalypse" through the eyes of the Defenders of The Daughter.
