Shattered

His arms trembled as he forced his hands to tighten even farther around the smaller males' throat. He couldn't help the rage that was surging through his entire body. The white heat was evident from his head to his foes. The pale man had not felt pain on such a high level since he had watched his sweet Cecilia wither from the beautiful rose she had been to what she has become in her final days.

Her skin had gone from the most perfect porcelain to an ashy grey. Her livid sapphire eyes that had always danced playfully when she smiled had turned cold as steel.

Her cheeks were no longer home to the wonderful pink pigment they had always held. She was taken from him by the cold frost bitten hand of death. It had been black and white nothing more. The pain had been unbearable and here Maximillion was facing it again, broken and alone.

Seto Kaiba was the only other human being he had opened his padlocked heart too since he had lost her. He was head over heels in love with Seto. In fact the day in question he had been out hand selecting the metal and stones to make him a beautiful ring to show he was ready to give his mind body and soul fully to his blue eyed lover.

When he had come back into his home he had heard noise coming from upstairs, from what had sounded like his room. Naturally curiosity killed the copycat… As he drew nearer to his doorway he heard whispering coming from two different male voices.

Upon throwing his door open he saw his beautiful brunette in the arms of the filthy blonde. They were making lover under his sheets, in his bed…

Seto and him had agreed to wait…The sight was more than the already twisted man could handle, he snapped. His one good eye widened and his pupil widened to the point where you could hardly see the lovely chocolate Carmel.

Before he knew what he was doing he had slipped one of his long painter's hands under Joey's scraggly blonde hair and threw him off of Seto. When Joey was a crossed the room he had his long white fingers wrapped around Seto's pale slender throat. He repeated the phrases over and over through tear welling eyes. "Why? Why? How could you, I trusted you! Trusted you with everything with my heart my life! You were everything to me!"

Now when he opened his only good eye he was in his tower, staring up at the large portrait of the only person who mattered to him. He wasn't sure where he had left Seto or if he was okay. In fact there were only three things in the world he was certain of right now.

One: No matter how hard he tried Cecilia was not coming back

Two: He was in more pain than his already shattered heart could bare.

And lastly three: There was only one way out.
