Before the Heroes of Olympus series, Leo ran away from another orphanage and ended up in Boston for a while. Magnus' mom found him and pretty much adopted him that Magnus and Leo became brothers.
One day Leo went out and when he came back, Mrs. Chase was gone and Magnus was a missing man. He was heartbroken. He didn't believe for one second that Magnus did it but he was sad he couldn't find him. That was until they literally bumped into each other under a bridge.
There was some yelling and a few punches thrown but they got all the things straightened out and continued being the best bros in the world (they had help being friends again tho *cough*CarterandSadie*cough*). They pretty much had an all around good time and even helped protecting the 21st Nome in the Serpent's Shadow. Leo learned to appreciate his fire and Magnus discovered his affinity for healing, everything was going so well...
Until Leo was forcibly taken (racism, god influence, petty crime, or something along those lines) and sent to Wilderness School where he was mind-wiped in order to play the goofy sidekick in Hera's plans. (to be fair tho, Hera didn't know he was friends with Egyptians and Norse, she somehow didnt notice)
In an unexpected moment, the Kanes, the Seven, Nico and Magnus accidentally met.
Percy : "Hey it's the Kanes!"
Jason: "Who?"
Annabeth: "They're our friends from the Egyptian Pantheon."
Jason: "...what? THERE'S EGYPTIANS NOW?!"
Annabeth: "Also Norse, my cousin from my father's side is the son of the Norse god of summer."
Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel: *mind blown*
Nico: *passively stares but internally freaking out*
Magnus randomly shows up*
Kanes and Magnus immediately notice the greeks and romans*
awkward stare off*
Leo appears*
Leo: "'Sup guys!"
Leo: "..."
Leo: "Am I missing something here? What happened?"
Kanes and Magnus immediately snap out of it and simultaneously tackle hug him*
takes a moment for Leo to remember and when he did he cried*
The seven just kind of stared when this happened while the Kanes and Magnus comforted their brother. Kind of heartwarming while they all silently cursed Hera to end up in Tartarus.
