The kissing scene between Lucas and Millie:

Lucas stormed in through the two front doors of Millie's Store and purposefully strode over to Millie. Her back was to him. Leaning against the counter close to her, he turned her around with a hand on her arm.

"Millie, I figure were pretty good friends?" he asked.

She looked confused. "Of course we are. Why do you ask?"

"Well it might not be any of my business, but Harry Chase isn't for you," he declared.

"I don't see whether that's any concern of yours," she exclaimed.

"Well I'm making it my concern. I don't wanna see you get hurt."

"Harry wouldn't hurt anyone. He's kind, sweet, and understanding person and I find him very attractive. Now if that's what you wanted to hear me say, Mr. McCain, I've said it!" she exclaimed. "Is it clear?" Her eyes were ablaze.

"Yes, it's clear!" His voice thundered. "But I'm going to tell you something. If Harry Chase is half the man he thinks he is and half the man you thin…"

"Half the man compared to who?" her voice rose.

He just looked at her for a second, as if deciding something. Before she could back up or move out of his space, his left arm rapped around her shoulders and his right hand pulled her head toward his at her neck. Her right hand pressed against his shoulder as he bent his head and claimed her lips with his, rather roughly. His hand slipped down from her neck to her waist and he drew her closer. The kiss lasted longer than she thought it would. The more passionate the kiss grew, the more her hand pressed against his shoulder. It finally broke them apart and she stood there looking up into his face, breathless and shocked.

"You figure it out." He almost smiled. He turned to leave and as he opened the door, he turned back, a question in his eyes.
