Peter was really nervous. He was supposed to be meeting up with the avengers right now, but Ned had dragged him to a party. They had both forgotten about the meeting until someone had started talking about the avengers. Then they panicked.
"Noooo," Peter moaned.
"Oh my god, was it important?" Ned asked. "I mean, you guys were just going to get shwarma, right?"
"Yeah, But Tony gets really pissed off whenever someone misses the shwarma. He's always the last one there, though."
Beside them, Flash scoffed. Yeah, Flash was at the party too.
"There is no way that theTony Stark would ever invite you," he said. "If I wasn't invited, then you wouldn't be. I won't let you leave."
Peter tried to run, but Flash managed to grab him.
"No, I have to go!" Peter said. Flash pulled him into the middle of all the people and yelled,
"Hey, Parker here says he knows Tony Stark!" People laughed. "He says Tony invited him to get shwarma with the avengers."
Everyone howled with laughter at that. Peter groaned and buried his face in his hands. Ned came over to him and pulledhim away from the laughing crowd.
"I'm so sorry," Ned said.
"No, it's me who forgot," Peter said glumly. "They're going to kill me! Well, actually, they might not even care. I mean, we were going to eat at the tower anyways."
"Parker says he was invited to the Avengers tower!" Flash yelled, causing everyone to laugh again. Peter sighed.
"HEY SPIDEY BOY!" Peter heard a familiar voice yell and spun around. There stood Tony Stark with an annoyed expression on his face. He was wearing sunglasses.
"Oh god, Mr. Stark I-I'm so sorry!" Peter stammered.
Tony sighed.
"You were supposed to come half an hour ago," Tony said, raising an eyebrow. Peter was surprised that the crowd hadn't noticed Tony yet. Right as he thought that, someone screamed,
"OH MY GOD, IT'S TONY STARK!" Everyone whipped around to see Tony and screamed, coming towards him. Tony rolled his eyes and grabbed Peter. He looked at Ned, who was staring at the crowd with an amused expression on his face.
"You coming?" Tony asked.
"Hm? Oh, yes!" Ned exclaimed.
"Well, you two are going to have to walk or something, cause I'm taking my suit." Tony walked out, throwing a peace sign back at the crowd, making them go crazy. Flash stopped Peter from leaving.
"What was that?" Flash demanded. "How does Tony Stark know you?"
"Internship, Flash," Peter said, then pulled Ned out.
