Hey, everyone. This is my new story. I'm new writing for the Doctor Who fandom, so any help would be awesome. I'm also American, but I have British friends, so hopefully it's okay in that area. Any reviews, favorites, comments, or concerns will be appreciated. You can also find Polyvore links for outfits, character portrayals, and such on my bio page. No matter what there will always be a Polyvore page for each chapter. Thank you, and I hope you like A Journey Through the Stars.
DISCLAIMER: Anything recognizable does not belong to me. I only own my OC's and anything related to them.
"Hey, Anna. You alright?"
The young woman gazing out the Tardis doors kept staring and waited for her brother to sit next to her.
"Seriously," he said, walking towards her and sitting on the stairs, his back against the railing," this isn't like you."
She just studied the stars in front of her, not really knowing what to say. It had been like this lately. Either Will or the Doctor would walk into the console room to see her sitting in that exact spot, just looking. Most of the time one of them would join her. More often then not, it was the Doctor. He would put his arm around her waist and she would lean into him, resting her head on his shoulder.
They wouldn't say anything. They would just sit there.
But now, Anna wanted to talk.
"Do you ever think about what our life would be like if we hadn't met him?"
Will shrugged. "Rather boring, I expect."
Anna laughed. "Yeah, I suppose, huh?"
The siblings made eye contact and started laughing together until their laughs mingled into breathy puffs of air.
"Do you regret it?" Will asked. "Is that why you've been distant lately?"
"No, of course not." Anna said, shaking her head. "I've just had to do a lot of thinking."
She looked at her brother who was already looking at her. "Yeah, I guess since Carley I can understand you thinking a lot."
Anna went back to studying the stars in front of her. That had been her favorite part of traveling with the Doctor. He showed her the stars, just like he said he would.
"How about when we first met him?" Anna asked in the silence, smiling at the memory.
Will smiled too. "I thought he was just another bloke."
Anna nodded in agreement. "I did, too." She moved closer to Will and put her head on his shoulder. "How wrong we were."
