This is a story how Morganthe could have defeat Ambrose quickly and easily at their meeting after gaining her deck of shadows.

Ambrose's House Third person POV
As soon as Ambrose and the young wizard entered the room Gama spoke "Headmaster, hep! It's Morganthe!"
The young wizard waring who is obviously from the school necromancy from the scheme of his dark clothing. his pale complexion made paler from the presence of Morganthe. "Hello Ambrose, I see you brought the very young wizard with you." She claimed looking at the ten-year-old boy in question.
"Now that I have reclaimed my deck of shadows, it is high time I put an end to this little game between us." She continued to which Ambrose replied furiously at her claim.
"And how do you plan to do that Morganthe!" The Spider Queen merely laughed at the Headmaster's response and taped her staff on the ground.
This caused a sealed envelope to appear in her left hand. "The Ambrose is your undoing," she said as the envelope opened itself, revealing the contents to all the occupants in the room. Upon reading the paper Ambrose's already pale features somehow managed to pale further. The old man pushed the young wizard behind him
"Impossible this must be a trick." The Headmaster desperately retaliated. upon seeing the fear in the old man's eyes Morganthe couldn't hold back a vicious grin from spreading across her face.
"Trust me, Ambrose, this is no trick. You see after Mirror Lake I did some reacher on the child trying to figure out his true identity since I refused to believe you would actually send a real child to face me. But to my surprise, you really did and now here are the consequences." She explained pointing her staff to the adoption papers.
"So I will ask you to unhand my son," she stated which seemed to eco thought the room.
Ambros took a step back shocked by the whole ordeal. "No Morganthe he already has a family, I think."
Morganthe smiled with wicked glee "My, my I had no idea that you knew this little about the law of the Spiral."
You see when you transported this child away from his world with no way to return and leave him with no parent or guardian, he is technically considered an orphan. You also brought him here against his will so technically you abducted him."
Ambrose knew she had him trapped but perhaps there is still a chance to challenge this. "Morganthe you shall not take him anywhere, I swear, I will."
"You'll do what Ambrose, challenge my claim" interrupted the Umbra Queen as the door behind the headmaster slammed open.
"Merle Ambrose, you're under arrest for kidnapping and child endangerment!" Stated the two CPS agents from Marylebone as they grabbed the arms of the Headmaster, tackling him down to the floor and cuffing him The poor young wizard just standing there wondering what to make sense this. One of the two officers stood up and walked over to Morganthe.
"The boy is yours to take but we do need your testimony in court to put him and the other professors of this school behind bars."
