"Susannah Simon!" Sister Ernestine yelled "I have warned you many times! Go to Father Dominic's office and I will make sure he gives you a real punishment this time" she scolded. I rolled my eyes in disgust. Father Dom never does anything to me. I mean all I did was threaten to break Kelly's fingers….again. So sue me I mean she used Brad's line and called Adam a fag and CeeCee a freak. I couldn't just sit there. So I told her if she didn't shut up I would bend her fingers until they all broke in half.
Anyway Sister Ernestine sent me to Father D's office. As soon as I got in he took me in. Sister Ernestine followed me in and told him I had 'threatened Ms. Presscott' So once Father D asked her to leave he actually got upset.
"Susannah please. This has been to seventh time!" he said with a stern voice that I have only ever heard once from him. He was angry at me. "I'm sorry to say I must act this time. Since it is the second to last day of school I am not able to suspend you as I should do according to the school guide lines. Instead I'm going to order that you go to counseling"
"What!" I screamed in disbelief "I can't go to counseling. All those weirdo's freak me out. They always want to know 'how your feeling'"
"Susannah please I never suggested you going to counseling like that. I meant I'm ordering you to go work for Carmel's summer retreat"
"You mean like a camp? No way am I going to baby sit a batch of little whining brats. I really wanted to have a real vacation this summer!" I said trying not to raise my voice any more because I had a odd feeling that Sister Ernestine was waiting outside the door listening.
"Would you change your mind if I told you we have collected enough money this year to hold the camp in cabins up in the snowy mountains of Colorado?" He said asking slyly. I cant lie my eyes did get wider at this.
"You know Father D I'm horrible with kids"
"Oh that's to bad because there's only one space left. I guess I'll just have to ask Ms.Prescott." He said giving me a look only Father D could. "And we'll just have to send you to summer school I guess"
