Emma Swan had not kissed Captain Hook.
She had not smiled back when he looked at her in approval. No. She was not that girl anymore. Hadn't been for so long she wasn't sure she knew who that even was anymore.
She was the woman who left him tied at the top of the beanstalk when he was getting too close. She was the woman who pushed people out.
No. That wasn't necessarily true anymore. Henry. There was always Henry. And even possibly her parents now.
But. Not. Hook. Never Hook. She knew what happened when you let people in in that way. She was not stupid enough to make that mistake again.
There was always that little voice though. The one that said "you might be" whenever she saw...
That's why she had kept the key chain especially close. Her reminder. The thing that would shut that voice up when it stopped whispering and started screaming.
It was gone now though. When -he- had kissed -her- the hand which held that keychain unclenched. Gravity stole her last reminder.
Emma Swan had not kissed Captain Hook.
Well...maybe she had.
A/N: Dedicated to Adriane! Love you!
