"Wake up Mei," I said slightly shaking her.
"Why?," she asked groggily while rolling on top of me and snuggling my chest.

I sat up slightly and put my palm on her forehead to lift her head up.

"It's New Year's Eve," I answered.
"So?," she asked sitting up so that she was now straddling my hips.
"I guess that you don't want to see what surprises I have in store for you then," I suggested turning my head slightly and smirking.
"No, I want to," she replied leaning back down on my chest.
"Okay then get dressed," I said before kissing her.

*Time Skip*

"So where are we going first?," she asked.
"To the temple to pray for a good year," I answered.

Since we went to the temple in Kyoto we had to take a train back to Tokyo. From there I took Mei shopping in the mall. We were walking past some stores when she stopped and was staring at something in the showcase display. It was a panda backpack.

"Do you want it?," I asked her and she nodded her head yes. So we went in the store and bought the backpack.

"I swear you're such a kid," I said while she put the backpack on.
"Shut up," she said before taking my hand and started walking around again.

"So where are we going now?," she asked while drinking bubble tea. We decided to take a break and went to a café.
"What's your favorite K-pop band?," I asked catching her off guard.
"Umm...Wow there's a lot. I guess Block B and f(x) are my top two," she answered after carefully thinking.
"Good because they're doing a New Year's Ever concert in Seoul and we're going to attend it," I stated.
"Are you serious?," she asked jumping out of her chair so that is screeched across the floor.
"Yes," I said with a smirk.
"You're not kidding are you?," she asked warily.
"No I'm not. Yong Soo got us tickets so that we're in the front and V.I.P backstage passes," I said holding each item up.
"Oh my God," she screamed taking the tickets to see if they were real.
"But wait it's in Seoul. How are we going to get there?," she asked.
"By the planes that leaves in about an hour," I said getting up.
"Oh, I knew that," she said walking to the door.
"Sure you did," I said following her.

We got in a cab and was on our way to Seoul. After the concert Mei got some autographs from the two groups while fangirling like crazy. The concert ended at 9:00 so we went shopping...again. I swear she's such a fashionista but this time she actually bought some clothes. By 10:00 we were on a plane on our way to another country.

"So are we going back home now?," she asked looking out the window.
"Yeah you're home," I answered and she looked at me confusingly.
"Wait, my home? As in Taiwan?," she asked.
"Yes. We're going to see the fireworks at Taipei 101," I said with a small smile.
"You're are the best boyfriend ever," she exclaimed before hugging me over the seat.

When the plane landed it was 11:30 and it took 20 minutes to get to Taipei 101. We settled down in a park nearby with 10 minutes to spare.

"Mei you forgot something when we went shopping," I stated.
"Huh? I did?," she asked.
"Yeah this," I said taking out a box and giving it to her. She opened it to reveal a diamond necklace.
"This is so beautiful Kiku. You shouldn't have," she said looking at it.
"But I did," I replied before putting the necklace on her.

Right after I did that the fireworks went off and "HAPPY NEW YEARS" erupted around us.

"Happy New Years," we whispered to each other before kissing.

I say that we ended 2014 with a bang. I can't wait to see what 2015 brings us.
