Okay so I wrote this at 3:30 and bear with me I wrote this like I text and it may not be the best but only the texting part is after a bolded name ex. Name: the text message the rest is normal please read and review
Texting under the table
Merlin was sitting at the huge table of Pendragon mansion that Uther owned. He was uncomfortable in such fancy clothes, he did not know almost anyone there, and he was sitting nowhere near Arthur. That's right he was at another one of Uther's stupid huge dinner parties. Well, at least he was sitting next to Morgana so he wasn't completely out of place. And well, at least he had his phone so he could text Arthur under the table, and that's exactly what he planned to do all night.
Bing, the sound of a text from his phone went off and he was thankful it wasn't loud so he received few looks from people.
Prince prat: (Merlin really was too lazy to change Arthurs contact name now that they were dating) im sry you got sucked into this im really sry I love you3
Merlin my lover: (it started as a joke really, but then he really meant it)I sokay really, its nice and im near Morgana the foods delicious, so ill be fine but im taking these clothes off as soon as we get home
Prince prat: mmmm yummy ;) ill talk to you the whole night though
Merlin my lover: ugg alright I will just have to try hard to not get confused and say the wrong thing
Prince prat: yes you will because I don't think my co-workers will like you much if you slip up especially with what I have planned
Merlin my lover: umm im scared now
Prince prat: don't be I won't bite. Yet. Hey wanna role play
Merlin my lover: ugh like what comics or ya
Prince prat: both ;)
Merlin gulped and looked up to see Morgana laughing, clapping his shoulder "I hope that works out well" she whispered and Merlin just whimpered.
Merlin my lover: great now you got me in trouble with morgana
Prince prat: oh shit sry
Merlin my lover: you wiil be. alight pick a fandom and pairing then start
Arthur chuckled. Uther glared. So he just looked down like he was sorry but, in truth he was resuming his conversation. He loved when Merlin talked dirty especially when he didn't know he was.
Prince prat: harry potter, darco/harry
"Damn! Hoping for Batman" he cursed, Merlin did most of his comic book reading when he was a teen, but he still loved the old Batman comics. Again, Morgana chuckled at Merlin.
Merlin my lover: harry sat in the common room over taken by insomnia so he sat just starring at the flames of the fireplace that was until his view was rudely obstructed by to freezing hands that came from nowhere " so that's where my invisibility cloak went" he laughed " howd you get in?"
Prince prat: (is this a hit at my cold hands) "some things must remain secret" he breathed onto harrys neck "besides you need to be in bed golden boy you have a game in the morning" "can I have my map back then, since youre playing hermes" "maybe" he replied "now off to bed I want to beat your ass fair and square 2moro" "take me there" harry said sleepily so draco carried him off
Merlin my lover: (yes it is) once there and tucked in harry pulled darco into a heated kiss and automatically draco sprang into action deepening the kiss and sliding into bed with harry…
The rest of the night was spent with text like that and occasionally Morgana would get a glimpse of one and they would both laugh they're asses off and Arthur would send them questioning looks. When the party was finally dispatched Merlin caught up with Arthur (more like searched for him like he was an FBI most wanted scared and determined at the same time) they chatted for a while then Arthur said " let's go home" to which Merlin replied " home is wherever I'm with you" and Arthur kissed the top of his head.
